About Morgan Marie

Morgan Marie is a vocalist from Southwest Florida best known for her throwback sound. She began singing lessons at a young age and sang in the Naples Philharmonic Youth and Chamber Choirs as a teenager. A jazz singer at heart, Morgan Marie has been involved in a variety of projects in Southwest Florida, from Country and Pop to Jazz and Blues. Morgan Marie and Alec Prorock began working together in the Spring of 2017, merging their mutual love for Jazz into an eclectic mix of original music and classic covers.
Since COVID-19 restrictions began in 2020, Morgan has been spending more time in the studio writing both songs and stories. Her poetry and short fiction work was recently accepted at two publications.


About Alec Prorock

Alec Prorock is a musician and multi-instrumentalist residing in Fort Myers, Florida, where he graduated from the Bower School of Music & The Arts at Florida Gulf Coast University. A former member of the group Polyenso, he was an integral part of their debut release, One Big Particular Loop. He released his debut solo album Cloud Chameleon on February 14th, 2016. Alec is a student of the master musicians: Matthew Sonneborn, Dan Miller, and Danny Jordan. He recently released his newest single, “Diving” from his Gulf Coast ‘EP’ in 2021.


The Uptown 3

With the addition of percussion and horn, The Uptown 3 consists of a variety of different musicians to complete a full band. Instrumentalists such as Jay Heavelin, Don Mopsick, Bobby Ryan, Jeff Feldstein, Joel Law, Rebecca Rocuant, Jose Corderro, and others have joined Morgan Marie and Alec on stage.
